After Lockdown getting out and about and indulging in a big dose of nature continues to do us all good. Here are some greener parts of the capital, did you know almost 50% of Greater London is green space.

Take the whole family to the Southbank Centre for a host of events, many of which are free and in the open air.
Fashion and Textile Museum
Founded by Zandra Rhodes, the Fashion and Textile Museum is the only museum in the UK dedicated to showcasing contemporary fashion and textile design. Read about current exhibitions.
The Garden Museum
Celebrate the best of Britain’s gardens at this museum on the banks of the river Thames. The Garden Museum tells the history of gardening, from early garden planning to the latest in garden gnomes. Displays include items from 16th-century naturalist John Tradescant’s collections, new garden-inspired art from contemporary and historical artists, as well as stories behind famous gardens. 2.4miles from the hotel, 25 minutes on puclic transport or 40 minutes walk across to Lambeth. Cutty Sark & Royal Observatory
Let the little ones explore beneath the hull of Cutty Sark or take part in one of the Royal Observatory’s Young Astronomers Workshops in Greenwich.
The Shard
The Shard, just a 12 minute walk from the hotel, head up to The View from The Shard. Please check that all attractions are open before your visit.
The O2
The O2 is a large entertainment district on the Greenwich peninsula in South East London, England, including an indoor arena, a music club, a Cineworld cinema, an exhibition space, piazzas, bars, and restaurants. It was built largely within the former Millennium Dome
Museums
