Sheep Drive on Southwark Bridge & Livery Fair 27 September 10am to 4pm an 8 minute cycle ride or 28 minute walk from the hotel. The Worshipful Company of Woolmen will be hosting their annual sheep drive across the river to re-enact a Freeman’s ancient right of taking his sheep into town without paying a toll. They will be accompanied by the Lord Mayor of London and a special celebrity guest (in previous years they’ve had the likes of Hollywood actor Damien Lewis, Alan Titchmarsh and Mary Berry).
